There is a small grocery store a short walk from the campus that has a small produce section. This store also has milk, cheese, soft drinks, snacks and household goods sections. They carry cooking and baking goods also. It is well stocked for a Hungarian small town grocery store.

Szalon Falatozó (The Truck Stop)
Just past the center of town you will find Szalon Falatozó. It is the only restaurant in Vajta and is owned by a very friendly and cheerful man named Lajos. Lajos speaks a little English and is learning more.

Dining Room

Meal times are usually 30 minutes long, and there is an all-you-can-eat salad bar included with lunch and dinner.
